It’s rare to find any plates with runes, swastika, eagles and direct;y related to a Third Reich organisation but here we have a very nice plate that is clearly a Reichsnährstand related piece.. The carving is a rendition of the large carved wood Reichsnährstand symbol that can be seen behind SS-Obergruppenführer Richard Walther Darré when giving a speech in Reichsbauernstadt Goslar.
This plate with its ‘Blood and Soil’ script and obvious Reichsnährstand symbolism is also important because of the other motif, the wheat and ‘LZW’ lettering below. This plate can surely then be also related to the “Landwirtschaftliche Zentralgenossenschaft Württemberg” – a former wing of the Raiffeisen entity taken over by the Reichsnährstand when it came into being.
