‘Lieber das Leben als die Treue opfern’, in English, ‘Better to Sacrifice Life than Loyalty’ A lime wood carved decorative plate/bowl with central swastika motif.

A saying of the Third Reich time, in fact this was one of the published weekly sayings of the NSDAP, Wochenspruchen der Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterparte. Between 1937 and 1941, the Wochenspruch der NSDAP, published a weekly poster with inspirational NS quotes and sayings. Published centrally by the Reichspropagandaleitung in Munich and by many  Gau propaganda offices.
