Hans Harders (1875 Morel in Holstein until around 1955 based in Berlin..) German sculptor and architect, Steel Worker in metal, patinated bronze, signed. A Weihnacht 1936 gift , dedication reads “Unserem Betriebsführer Weihnachten 1936”.
‘Betriebsführer’ would be translated to Company Leader, and likely the Leading Manager and owner. A gift given by the ‘Betriebsgemeinschaft’ (workers, secretaries, CEO´s and suchlike, working in or for a specific company) to their boss.
Great size piece, 32cm high, clearly a very high artistic quality.
Harders studied at the Dresden and Berlin Academy.
