I’m currently researching this Third Reich 17th SS Standarte oak award box. If anyone has any information, period documents, photographs and so forth relating to this box I would be most interested to know, thank you.
It is believed to be an award box that would contain a document (possibly a bank/savings book) and celebratory Urkunde relating to the birth of an SS child and gifting of money to the child.
