A superb example of the rare SS Quedlinburg Commemorative badge depicting King Heinrich I ‘Henry the Fowler’ 919-936 against the backdrop of Quedlinburg Cathedral.
This badge is made of a sandwich metal, often called ‘cupal’ by collectors although with this badge its three layers of metal, copper/aluminium/copper. Great copper oxide patina, it’s not been polished which is nice to see.
