From the series ‘Bilder vom Einsatz unserer Polizei im Osten’ – a scarce postcard in that it depicts a group of SD-officials of the notorious ‘Einsatz- gruppen’, units that are rarely seen in photographs. The photographer is Friedrick Franz Bauer. To the reverse the card bears the title ‘SD = Ein Kommando der Sicherheitspolizei vor dem Einsatz’.
